Description

On 9 May, three men from The Hague aged 40, 40 and 45 were arrested on suspicion of involvement in large-scale trafficking in and smuggling of narcotic substances. They used several worldwide transport routes to transport the cocaine. One of the men is also suspected of involvement in a violent kidnapping in Germany in March 2000.

Mohamed Nyabi, brother of one of these suspects, is still at large. He too is suspected of involvement in large-scale trafficking in and smuggling of narcotic substances. In addition, he is suspected of participation in an organized criminal group, involvement in said kidnapping in Germany, and illegal possession of firearms. There is a good chance that Nyabi is resident abroad, but it is unknown in what country. On the Internet, he poses as an art dealer in Dubai. Nyabi is the subject of both a national and an international alert.

Description

Nyabi has dark brown eyes and a prominent scar near his right eyebrow. He is of slim build and 1.78 m tall. On his right shoulder he has a tattoo with the name ‘Martha’. Mohamed Nyabi is also known as ‘Nibit’ or ‘Tommy’. On his travels he may use false identity documents.
