On January 30th, 2013, the trunk of an unknown Caucasian man, possibly of Eastern European origin, was found in the river IJ, along the Ms. Van Riemsdijkweg in Amsterdam.

Description
The man was of normal/sturdy build, and had dark/black chest hair. The man had a so-called horseshoe kidney. Based on his DNA characteristics he probably had blue or green eyes. A C&A T-shirt and underpants were present on the trunk (see picture).
