Victim of license plate fraud and reporting or filing a report

If you suspect misuse of your license plate, you must report it to the police. Among other things, you can then appeal if you receive unjustified fines from the CJIB. You can also report to the Team License Plate Fraud at mail address: meldpunt-kentekenfraude@politie.nl.

In case of undermining activities such as illegal license plate change, license plate theft, vehicle theft, you should contact the police immediately. You can also contact report crime anonymously, for example, if you know the possible perpetrator.
