36-year-old Marc Jaskulski from Dronten has been missing since Monday, April 15. He was last seen on Monday around 2:15 PM on the Langstraat in Dronten. He presumably left his home on the Lancasterdreef by bicycle. Marc's bicycle was found in the water near the Drontermeerdijk in July 2024.
Search operations
Searches have been conducted multiple times in the Roggebotzand/Roggebotsebos forest area near Dronten. A signal from his phone was last picked up by a cell tower near the asylum seekers' center. The police also searched, as did multiple search teams on several occasions. Police boats were also used to search. This involved lakes, waterways, and canals with bicycle paths running alongside them throughout the entire municipality. A survey of passers-by was also conducted in the Dronten forest. Furthermore, it was possible that he was heading towards Kampen, where he worked as a postal delivery person. Just like in Zwolle, we searched there without success as well.
Description of Marc
Marc is 1.85 cm tall and has a light complexion. He wears small glasses and two hearing aids. On the day of his disappearance, he was wearing a green jacket, grey sweatpants, and brown shoes. He may be traveling on a brown/grey Gazelle bicycle.
Victim of a crime
We previously considered multiple scenarios. Marc could have become unwell due to a lack of medication because of his kidney disease. Another possibility was that he had been involved in an accident. However, at this moment, we believe that Marc has become the victim of a crime. This is especially true because our investigation has shown that he had an appointment with someone on Monday afternoon, April 15, 2024, at a meeting point in the Roggebotsebos. His phone emitted a signal at the meeting point and, 8 minutes later, a little further away in the forest. It is possible that something occurred between Marc and the person he was meeting, but more people may also have been involved.

Shortly before his disappearance, he had a date via the dating app Grindr.
