Will ordinary policework continue during the NATO Summit?
Basic police services will remain available, and police stations will stay open. Insofar as possible, incident handling, operational police management and high-priority investigations will continue as usual.
Will the police continue to be available for regular policing?
Although we will be providing personnel to police the NATO Summit, we will continue to provide urgent local police services elsewhere in the Netherlands, and police stations will stay open.
Will other reports/cases be postponed or put aside during the NATO Summit?
All urgent cases will be dealt with by the police at the local level. However, sometimes it may not be possible to start working on reports and/or investigations until after the NATO Summit.
Can the phone numbers 112 and/or 0900-8844 be called as usual?
You can call our emergency number 112 as well as the number 0900-8844 (to contact the police in non-urgent cases) as usual.
