Who witnessed an assault at the Ronak Mela-festival?
Amsterdam - Sunday, the 20th of August, should have been a fun day for a 52 year-old man from Amsterdam. Together with friends and family he attends an event, located at the Sloterpark in Amsterdam Nieuw-West. Unfortunately, he encountered a group of six violent men, who choose to threaten and abuse him physically. Police officers are investigating this violent incident and would like to get in touch with other visitors who may have witnessed this assault.
The victim had just returned from the toilet when he was attacked by the group of men. He receives several punches against his head and upper body and gets bitten. The assault took place on the festival site around 6:45 p.m., shortly before the finals of the event.
