Bij WhatsApp-hacking installeren oplichters uw WhatsApp-account op hun eigen telefoon of tablet. Via uw account gebruiken ze uw identiteit om anderen op te lichten. Een bekend voorbeeld van WhatsApp-oplichting is bijvoorbeeld de vriend-in-noodfraude.
